ABOUT
Arch. Abdullah H. Al Gurashi graduated in 1988 with a BA in Architecture from the University of Tennessee in the United States.
He since joined one of the largest and most reputable Architectural firms in Saudi Arabia, Zuhair Fayez Partnership. Where he worked there for 16 years and honed his skills as an Architect, Designer, Coordinator, Project Manager and finally Director of Projects, working on a variety of Jobs across a wide spectrum of specialties. This included residential projects, commercial facilities, office buildings, as well as large scale prototypical governmental projects, such as Police Stations, Civil Defense, Correctional Facilities, Hospitals and Palaces.
In 2005 he branched out and started his separate Architectural practice, where he, along with a handpicked team of professionals endeavored to provide a unique full range of Architectural & Engineering services at the highest market standards to discerning customers at a competitive cost. In addition to his Practice, in 2008, he partnered with two of his colleagues and established MAKAN URBAN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY LTD., a Construction Company with more than 130 staff members of varying specialties and professional practices in the field of Engineering and Construction.
The company has constructed numerous projects, mostly office buildings, and commercial complexes. Recently, he has moved to the UK and decided to invest in unique business opportunities.
He is a member of Omran Society governing body in Saudi Arabia, as well as being a certified member of The Saudi Engineers Body.
